In this series:
- Meet the Owner
Everything we have belongs to God. We manage His business, but He's a great owner to work for.
- Meet the Team
Every person belongs to God. He asks us to manage our relationships well - and commit them to him.
- Fit for Management
If every person belongs to God - then I belong to God. My body is His temple, and he asks me to take care of it.
- Making the Most of Time
Time is the great equalizer - all of us have the same amount. But when it becomes God's time - we are not constrained by it as we were. We "exchange" our time for God's time by committing the first and best to him.
- Managing Money Wisely
Our money and our heart are in the same place. Does the heart follow the money, or does the money follow the heart? Both are true according to scripture. While we cannot control the heart, we can control the checkbook - and giving our money to God ensures that the heart will follow...
- Nothing Less than Worship
To conclude the series about giving God what is rightfully his anyway, we see that He deserves nothing less than worship. Worship literally means to "prostrate oneself at the feet of". What he really wants is us - all of us . This message uses the story of Mary and the alabaster box to show that our measured gift must become an act of reckless abandon. This is ultimately the goal of stewardship. |
